I have a ton of neck issues, including possible non-EDS hypermobility and craniocervical instability, and I was very hesitant - but also excited - about this device. So far I've only used it once, but I was very impressed with how good it felt to use (not scary at all, and also not painful), how it hit every single spot that seems to get tense or tender or need attention, and how I immediately had the feeling of open sinuses, a more relaxed face, and a TON of range of motion in my head, neck, and shoulders. I also didn't get the bounceback symptoms I feared (though there were a couple days of soreness, as the literature warned me). I didn't use the pump at all, since the device as is was more than enough traction for now, so I can't speak to that. But so far, I'm a fan. A warning to other spoonies like me though: they say to start with 5 minutes on each side minimum, and that's what I did, but I think it would've been smarter to start even smaller, with 1-2 min on each side. I ended up fine, but I suspect my body would have been less sore if I'd gone slower.
